Do you ever support political campaigns? Can you play for one even if you don't endorse? Nothing current, just hoping for a future run.

Hi Pat, as a band we don't support political campaigns. But we do so appreciate that you are working to make the world a better place. Thanks and best of luck to you.

Do you ever play in Rochester, NY?

Ryanhood responded on 04/25/2018

The closest I think we’ve come are Oswego and Buffalo. In April 2019 we’re playing in Syracuse. Probably the closest we'll be to Rochester in 2018 is Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, or Glens Falls, NY. Road trip? :-)

folk festival in Tucson,next year?

Ryanhood responded on 10/09/2017
A

Hopefully so! They don't plan it this far out so we don't know yet what it will look like. If we do play, it won't be appearing in a headlining capacity, as they try to change that up year to year, but we could very likely still play in a smaller capacity. In the meantime, hope you can catch us at the Rialto Theatre on Nov 24th!

We took daily multivitamins for years, until finally, it just happened!

Will you guys be around western PA any time?

Ryanhood responded on 04/04/2017

nothing on the books in Western PA right now, but we just signed with a new booking agency that's based in OH, so western PA seems like a reasonable possibility in the future!

Why are you not gazillionaires who have no time for all "the little people"? Very enjoyable meeting you after your "Surrounding Dillinger" performance last night. I'm 1/2 way through your latest CD and wonder who "Thirteen" was written by and what happened to cause the trauma?

Ryanhood responded on 03/28/2017
A

Thanks for the note. The lyrics to Thirteen were mostly written by Cameron, although they reflect similar experiences that both of us, and I think many teenagers, had. It's not about one specific traumatic event. Rather the collective trauma of coming of age, growing up in the midst of disfunction, social life, hormones, etc. You can read the lyrics at https://ryanhood.com/yearbook

Hi Guys!
I recently moved here from NJ. There I was involved on the Board of the Folk Project. I have been getting involved out here with TKMA and more. I recently told my friend Mark Schaffer about how awesome you are. He just let me know that he booked you to play at the Folk Project Acoustic Getaway in NJ in the Spring. Way to go!

Are you performing around Tucson anytime soon? Would love to actually catch you live and meet you.
Best and be well,
Andrew Hines

Hey Andrew. Small world! We're looking forward to Acoustic Getaway.

We'll likely do some event to celebrate the release of our new album, which will come out in late jan/early feb. But nothing is set for that yet.

We'll be playing a small out of the way gig at the Arizona Senior Academy on Tues Jan 3 at 11:30am.
https://www.asa-tucson.org/ It's waaaaay out southeast.

Then of course there's the Tucson Folk Fest, but that's a ways off. Anyhow, if you're on our email list, you'll find out about any CD release event we do.

Welcome to Tucson and thanks for the email!
